Dr. Jen Brown, L.Ac, DAcCHM
Jen is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified herbalist in Texas with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. She earned her Master’s degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, gaining hands-on clinical experience at AOMA’s clinic, Austin Veteran Affairs Clinic, and Seton McCarthy Community Health Center. In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, she’s certified in tui na bodywork and body cupping therapy, blending Eastern and Western approaches to offer thoughtful, individualized care.
Growing up in a family of medical doctors, Jen was immersed in the world of healthcare early on. After years in the corporate world, she turned to acupuncture to manage her own health concerns, which completely shifted her perspective on healing. That experience, along with over a decade of teaching therapeutic yoga, shapes her approach today. She believes in compassionate, patient-centered care that takes a whole-body approach, addressing imbalances rather than just managing symptoms.
Originally from Chicago, Jen now calls Austin home, where she has created a welcoming space for patients to slow down, restore, and reconnect with their well-being. Outside of her practice, you can find her exploring Austin, spending time in nature, practicing yoga, trying new recipes, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
